MARRIAGE OF TRIPURA TRIBAL PEOPLE
Marriage, everyone we know the meaning of marriage or what marriage is called. It is a culturally recognised union between people, called spouses, as well as between them and their children, and between them and their in-laws. It is also considered a cultural universal an it is define as cultures and religion and overtime. In some culture , marriage is considered as sexual activity. A marriage ceremony is called a wedding.
THE JAMATIA HINDU WEDDING & CULTURE:
Jamatia is one of the community from the Indian State Tripura, it is the 3rd largest sub-tribe of among indigenous Tribes, after the Debbarma & the Reang community in Tripura. As we know Tripura is a smallest state of North-East India. Jamatia Community does not appreciate any dowry system from the bride side. Don't you Like Jamatia boys? No need to pay or give any dowry . How lucky !!
JAMATIA HINDU MARRIAGE:-
Jamatia boy may marry a girl from another Tribe or another community, but girl has to stay with the husband's family or in her husband house. A Jamatia man or boy cannot even marry a widow girl of his elder or younger brother's. (FULL VIDEO OF JAMATIA TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE).
